The St. Charles Preschool Program is one-of-a-kind. This is due, in part, to the leadership of our director Janet Ferlisi. Mrs. Ferlisi is not only our director but she is also a board member and a former teacher here at St. Charles, and — she also went to school here! Mrs. Ferlisi is very invested in our school (as her long history indicates) and she is committed to making each child feel success. The Pre-K and Preschool Program is designed to teach children through play and utilizes Theme and Center-Based classrooms. With this approach, children choose from a variety of “centers” such as the Writing Center, Reader Center, Block Center, Kitchen Center, Math Center, Art Center, etc. There are never more than 4 children per center which allows individual attention and a place to explore the topics in a very calm, and creative way.

When you enroll your child in our Preschool Program, you will have peace of mind that they are in a safe, nurturing environment that is dedicated to educational excellence. Our Program is faith-based and we welcome families from all walks of life and religious beliefs. We will work with you to accommodate your beliefs while teaching your children the foundations of being good citizens as they learn and grow with us. Your child will be very well prepared for Kindergarten and 1st Grade when they complete our programs. Our focus for 3-year-olds is on socializing and being part of a community, while our 4-year-old program is more focused on Reading and Math readiness. We are very proud to offer this exceptional Catholic Pre-K program at a cost that is well-below many other area private school tuitions.

We have various scheduling options available for both our preschool 3 and preschool 4 families. Please click the admissions & inquiries tab for more information. To register, please contact the main office for a registration packet. The completion of the registration packet and the submission of the registration fee holds your child’s spot for the upcoming academic year.

All families enrolled at St. Charles School are required to create an account within our tuition management system, FACTS. The link to the FACTS website may be found on the left of your screen. Your registration is not confirmed until this account has been created.

Financial aid is not available to preschool families. Students are eligible for financial aid upon entering kindergarten.
